Catnic Thermally Broken Lintels are the only Lintel to provide a guaranteed linear thermal transmittance Psi values 0.05 W/mK or less. Manufactured from powder coated galvanised steel with options to suit cavities from 90 to 165mm in standard, heavy and extra heavy duty performance categories.
A unique design, providing a complete thermal break between inner and outer leafs with NO brackets, resulting in outstanding thermal performance always 0.05 W/mK or less. Safe working loads in line with Catnic’s existing Cavity wall lintels.
Catnic’s Thermally Broken Lintel has a BRE-certified energy transmittance Psi value of 0.02 to 0.05 W/mK with no compromise to structural performance. These lintels have been independently modelled by the BRE in a range of different wall constructions, and as a result, the range is listed on the BRE Certified Thermal Details and Products scheme.
Catnic’s Thermally Broken Lintel has been designed to cover all building types from small domestic dwellings to large apartment buildings, including buildings with concrete floor loads.
