Manufactured from CXL Extreme load (203x133x30 UB S355 JO with 6mm welded bottom plate S275JR to UB)
80x80x5 SHS Post (S355 J2H CF). Galvanized to BS EN1461. UKCA accredited to BS EN 1090 Exc 2
All Special lintels are made to order, these items are non-returnable and the order cannot be cancelled once placed.
Important Note: Please seek your structural engineers approval of our system prior to ordering. The suitability of this product is the responsibility of the clients engineer. We do not provide any technical data in relation to specific construction and load conditions other than provided in our CXL loading data to be used as a guide.
Step 1: Choose Special Lintel type

Corner (Mitre)
Corner lintel in 2 pieces complete with a 1no support post & baseplate. Bolt together on site (bolts supplied).
Square Bay
Square Bay lintel in 3 pieces complete with a 2no support posts & baseplate. Bolt together on site (bolts supplied).
Splayed Bay
Splayed Bay in 3 pieces complete with a 2no support posts & baseplate. Bolt together on site (bolts supplied).
Splayed Bay (With Returns)
Splayed Bay (with Returns) lintel in 5 pieces complete with a 2no support posts & baseplate. Bolt together on site (bolts supplied).
Step 2: Enter your dimensions
Provide the dimensions of the overall outer leaf lengths (mm) for each leg as shown in our diagram and then click next
Step 4: Posts
The posts are supplied in 3500mm lengths. 1no for a corner lintel and 2no for a square bay or splayed bay lintel
Post – 80x80x5 SHS 3500mm (S355 J2H CF) long c/w welded 250x250x10 base plate
Cut the post on site to the chosen length required.
Drill 2no 18mm dia holes in the top of post to allow it to be bolted to the spiggot welded to the underside of the cap plate provided. Please use both bolts provided.
Generally the post is designed to fit within the cavity however, you may be required to adapt/disturb some brickwork on site to accommodate the post.
Resin bolts and resin to fix the baseplate are not provided.
