Thermo+ lintels provide a complete thermal break between inner and outer leafs with no brackets or clips resulting in outstanding thermal performance always 0.034 W/mK or less. Our thermal couplers are provided to give added strength and are thermally broken with the use of a Nylon thread. Please always refer to our Installation guidelines with regards to propping lintels during installation.
Thermo+ offers a cost effective solution to lowering carbon emissions where the product design significantly reduces the heat transfer compared to traditional lintels. Offering a lower heat loss through the lintel improves the overall thermal performance of the wall and the building as a whole. Thermo+ has an energy transmittance Psi value of 0.0252 to 0.034 W/mK with no compromise to structural performance (see product load tables). Thermo+ has been designed to cover all building types from small domestic dwellings to large apartment buildings, including building with concrete floor loads (HD & XHD profiles).
