Overview

Timber Frame Lintels (TF) are designed for use in timber frame construction and are intended to support the outer leaf of masonry only, generally brickwork.

Designed to support up to 102mm outer leaf

Supplied with restraint clips to be spaced at maximum 500mm centres, starting from mid span. Clips are to be nailed to the timber frame (nails not supplied).

 

Delivery Information

Standard & Free Delivery Options

  • We aim to deliver most items in up to 7 working days standard or up to 10 working days for free delivery.  Time is not of the essence.  You must be available at the delivery location during this period 8:00-17:00 each day to receive the delivery up to 17:00 on the ‘by date’ shown on your order. Deliveries are Monday – Friday and all lead times are working days.
  • Working days are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday (excluding any bank or national holidays) Any order placed on Saturday, Sunday or a bank or national holiday cannot be processed until the first working day after that and therefore will be treated as if ordered on that day. For example, An order placed on Saturday is treated as if it was ordered on Monday (unless Monday is a bank or national holiday) at 8 am.
  • The date shown on your order states ‘by x date’. This means your goods will arrive no later than 17:00 on the date shown. Your goods may arrive before this date.
  • You will receive an email notification of your delivery date once allocated to a vehicle by our transportation department with at least 24 hours notice. If you reject the deliver date offered then the order will go back in to our system and be subject to a further 8 or 12 working days lead time from the date of your delivery rejection notification.

Fast Track Delivery Option

  • We will confirm if your order is eligible for fast track delivery on receipt of your order. We will also provide a 5-hour delivery slot for when you can expect to receive your order. You must be available at the delivery location during this period 8:00-17:00 to take delivery. Deliveries are Monday – Friday and all lead times are working days.
  • Only those goods marked as eligible for the fast track service will be delivered via the fast track service. Any other goods on the order will be delivered via our standard delivery service.
  • If a product delivered by the fast track delivery service is returned there will be no refund of the fast track delivery charge.

Next Working Day Delivery Option

The order must be placed before 9am on the working day proceeding the delivery date otherwise the order will be processed the following working day. You must be available at the delivery location during this period 8:00-17:00 on the next working day to take delivery.
  • Only those goods marked as eligible for the next working day service will be delivered via the next working day service. Any other goods on the order will be delivered via our standard delivery service.
  • If a product delivered by the next working day delivery service is returned there will be no refund of the next working day delivery charge.

Delivery & Re-delivery

  • If you are not available once the goods have been dispatched to sign and accept the delivery or do not have adequate people on site to offload the goods or mechanical offload facilities available, then the goods will be returned to our depot at a cost of £69 + vat (Failed Delivery Fee).  A re-delivery fee equal to that of the original order will also apply to any re-dispatch of your order. The Failed Delivery Fee and the re-delivery charge will need to be paid in full prior to us being able to arrange the re-delivery. Refunds will not be made for the original delivery costs of any failed deliveries. The lead time for any re-dispatch of your order will be equal to the original order lead time and commence from receipt of payment of the re-delivery fee.

Offload for all options by client. Our vehicles do not have mechanical offload facilities and our delivery driver cannot assist.

Some items are cut from longer stock length. Once cut these items are non-returnable. All product dimensions in the overview are for indication only. Some product dimensions vary as the lintel increases in length and material thickens or if the item is cut from a longer stock profile.
